Present Posting Policy

The following has been the posting policy, defined by the webmaster, when a non-verifiable request was made in January of 2006.

At that time a request was made to post an enrollee who had not provided consistent verifiable information. The following information was provide:

  • The enrollee's name was apparently valid, as determined by TCAA,
  • A class year that was later found to be off by one year,
  • An mailing address had an invalid zip code relative to address,
  • No email address.
  • Thus, there was no method to contact the enrollee provided.

Thus, as webmaster, I could not confirm the enrollee's request, and to-date this entry request has yet to be confirmed. I could not determine if the entry was even made by the name on the entry form.

Presently, TCAA has not provided a policy that defines enrollment conditions.

In view of the above, the webmaster has defined the enrollment policy. Until another policy is define, please make requests other than this policy to the TCAA Board of Directors.

Thus, this is the present policy:

  • First, it is assumed that class members make an enrollment such that viewers could communicate with them.

  • Second, list of classmates, without a means of communication, will be listed by those assuming the Online Class Representive role, or those assuming the role of Class Webmaster.

  • Third. The Webmaster, having no way to confirm a valid enrollment, will attempt to confirm the entry, but it is his decision to post or not post. The webmaster can not determine if the request is even entered by the class member.

  • Fourth, the webmaster will seek assistance from TCO Class reps and others to assist in confirmation.
