May 16, 2011 Update! Hello Fellow Supporters of our Great Centennial Celebration and Friends of Venice High School! We’re almost there – just over a month to go ‘til the BIG EVENT! Have you marked your calendar? We’re expecting YOU! We’ve got two restaurant fundraisers this month and we hope that you’ll come to both. Attached are the flyers in both pdf and jpg format. Use the jpg to repost on Facebook. Please come by to support us, and share the flyers with your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and even people on the street. Spread the word! Tomorrow night, Tuesday May 17th, is at California Pizza Kitchen in Marina del Rey at 13345 Fiji Way. Yummy pizzas, pastas and salads – or if you just feel like stopping by for drinks and appetizers or coffee and desserts – please come and support us! Be sure to bring the attached flyer with you so that we get credit for your purchase! Our second May restaurant fundraiser is Tuesday May 24th at Islands in the Marina at 404 Washington Blvd. This is our most popular restaurant fundraiser location - great food, great service, plenty of parking. Again, remember, you must present the attached flyer for us to get credit. We've put two fliers on each sheet so you can use one for yourself and give one to a friend. The Crescendos, Venice High’s award-winning jazz ensemble, is reuniting for a one-night-only concert Saturday night, June 25th at 8 p.m. in the VHS Auditorium. Tickets are available through the Centennial website www.venicehighcentennial.com/store. Tickets are limited so don’t wait too long! WANTED: VOLUNTEERS for the weekend of June 24-26.
