    Be patient !  This site is currently a suggested extraction from a prior site, and will need revision.  I will endeavor to make it a "learning" site with a variety of current topics to assist Seniors stay abreast of their computer usage and knowledge.  I wish to welcome those who, for whatever reason, enjoyed this content when on the prior site, and I hope you will return to view this site.

    I have uploaded and installed the new version and had a automatic download and scanning of my system.
 The AVG package thus automatically downloaded the new update for the new version (7.5). During the process I captured 15 images of the complete upgrade process.
    If you are capable of doing the upgrade procedure, installation and process the update, I suggest you do it.  But, I am not going to spend a day or more making a tutorial of the process if you are not interested.

    Though this e-mailed " *.doc " file was sent to you to read, it is a printer file. This is a graphic file as may be displayed on some monitors.
   The left image displays the "differences" between what the author's Word generation package intended to print , and what some viewer's likely older Word version displays.   Thus, "WYSIWYG".
   Though readable, it illustrates the fact that print documents are poduced for the printers on the generating computer.
   There is no reason not to do this. There is a good reason not to use "printer files" for use on the Internet.
If the "half" spacing between the paragraphs above interests you, then come and ask at the Web Page Design meetings.

    The "marquee" above is a link to a simple "dirty" HTML web page involving the text of an email ( requirying a "text cut" and no editing ), one HTML tag block, and two HTML text presentation tags.  Click the "marquee", then VIEW the source of the displayed page.

    Caution:  Buyer Beware!

        Do Not Buy a domain from Godaddy.com and not host it.
        This domain was likely purchased by someone, but it is not being hosted.  Thus, Godaddy has used it for its own advertisement. If you paid for the site, any use of it without authorization is called thief.  Godaddy calls them "parked", but they use them!
        It happend to me ....

    Caution:  Domain Owner Concerns.

        If you own a domain, and you forget to renew the hosting fee, the "registrar" may choose to hold it for "ransom" for you to get it back. They can this use it as they wish.  This is what has happened to two domains I had abandoned.
